Texas A&M Aggies head coach Mike Elko has significantly bolstered his coaching staff by bringing in a cadre of seasoned professionals for the 2024 season. These strategic additions aim to enhance both the offensive and defensive units of the team.

Collin Klein has been appointed as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach. Klein, a former Kansas State quarterback and offensive coordinator, is expected to bring innovative strategies to the Aggies’ offense.

 

Holmon Wiggins joins as the Co-Offensive Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach. Wiggins previously served as the wide receivers coach at Alabama, where he developed several NFL-caliber players.

 

Adam Cushing takes on the role of Run Game Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach. Cushing’s experience includes head coaching positions and a focus on developing robust offensive lines.

 

Trooper Taylor has been named Associate Head Coach (Offense) and Running Backs Coach. Taylor brings a wealth of experience from his tenure at Duke, where he served in a similar capacity. Jay Bateman joins as the Defensive Coordinator and Linebackers Coach. Bateman previously held the defensive coordinator position at North Carolina, bringing a strategic defensive mindset to the Aggies. 

Sean Spencer has been appointed as Defensive Line Coach. Known for his energetic coaching style, Spencer previously coached the defensive line at Florida. Wesley McGriff joins as Defensive Backs Coach. McGriff brings extensive SEC experience, having coached at Florida and Auburn.
