Nick Bosa, a defensive lineman for the San Francisco 49ers, is being candid about his team’s NFC Divisional Playoff Round comeback victory over the Green Bay Packers. In order to fend off Green Bay, 24-21, and go to the NFC Championship, the 49ers required a late score.
Bosa claimed the team required a match similar to the one on Saturday in order to get experience having to come back from behind.
It appeared as though the 49ers would become the second club to fall short against the Green Bay Packers in as many NFC Playoffs weeks. With less than 4 minutes remaining in the game, the Packers had a 4-point lead over the 49ers. In the final moments, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy guided the team on a 69-yard touchdown drive to complete the stunning comeback victory for San Francisco.
After the game, Bosa remarked, “I feel like we needed a win like that.” “It just helps you practise fighting more.”
There’s going to be at least one more battle for the 49ers. The squad will be waiting for the victor of Sunday’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Detroit Lions game in the NFC Championship game the following week. The game will be hosted in San Francisco by the 49ers.
With the victory, the 49ers raise their season total to 13-5. San Francisco, who began the year 5-0 before going on a three-game losing run, has had an up and down season. After having a bye week, the team won six straight games. The 49ers are holding out hope that they still have one winning streak left, which would help the team win a Super Bowl. It’s been almost thirty years since the squad last won the Super Bowl.
After the loss, Green Bay finishes the season with a 10-9 record.
