Mother of Christian McCaffrey: “She’s dead to us this week” in reference to Taylor Swift’s boycott

Some San Francisco 49ers are changing their listening habits this week, including Christian McCaffrey’s mother, Lisa. Lisa McCaffrey, who disclosed this week that she has Taylor Swift songs on her running playlist, told listeners on a podcast that she will shun the singer until after the 49ers face the Chiefs in the Super Bowl on Sunday. She went so far as to remark that the multi-platinum musician is “dead to us,” as long as she and her fiancé Travis Kelce compete with her kid.

On McCaffrey’s fiancée Olivia Culpo’s podcast, Lisa stated, “I refuse to listen to Taylor Swift songs for the next couple days.”

“I love her, I love the relationship, but we are boycotting any T. Swift songs,” she said in ‘Your Mom.’ “If she appears on the radio station…nope.” “She’s dead to us this week.”

Christian McCaffrey has been dating former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo since 2019, and last week, Culpo bought a suite at Allegiant Stadium for her prospective mother-in-law to see her son compete in Super Bowl LVIII. The suites for the big game cost around $2.5 million, but even if you don’t have a millionaire in a suite, tickets are quite pricey this weekend. Even nosebleed seats have reached five-figure prices.

McCaffrey lists a North Carolina home for sale.
According to Joe Pompliano, San Francisco’s all-purpose tailback is selling his mansion in Charlotte, North Carolina for $12.5 million, as announced on Twitter last week. The former Panthers star no longer needs the home now that he has permanently relocated to the West Coast.

The villa itself is rather wonderful, with a stunning lakeside outlook. The front yard landscaping appears to be perfect. It also includes a movie theatre, gym, pool, and private boat dock. He originally paid $7.5 million for the house in 2020, which would net him a profit of $5 million if he sold it for the current asking price.

McCaffrey has had a successful 2023-2024 season, and he is a major reason why the San Francisco 49ers are in the 2024 NFC Championship Game against the Detroit Lions. He once again demonstrated his status as one of the league’s greatest players, rushing for 1,459 yards (a career high) and 14 touchdowns. As a receiver, he has 564 receiving yards and seven touchdowns, proving that he is one of the best all-purpose backs in NFL history.
